EndGame Crusade

We have been on hiatus for over a year now waiting for a new game to release that we can play together. Finally that game is about to release in Diablo 3 with already over 25 of our current/former members expected to play. If you are a former guildy and would like to join up with some old EGC feel free to post your battletag on our forums. If you have trouble posting on our forums try to get a hold of myself or any other guild member that can post it for you.

After coming close to killing Atramedes on Thursday night we came back in fresh on Sunday night and made a few minor tweaks to the strategy.  Once everyone started running the Breaths the correct way we got him down fairly quick. 

After a “laggy” Tuesday we went back in on Wednesday and started off very good and then got him after a few attempts.  We have started working on Atramedes and got him to 50% last night and hope to have him down fairly soon.

Last night we killed Chimaeron on HM difficulty for the first time.  Surprisingly for a patch day the servers were fairly stable and we only had to deal with random disconnects or lag spikes.  The kill was very clean as I don’t think we lost a single tank during his fued phase. 

Last night we killed Halfus Wyrmbreaker on HM for our very first HM kill in this expansion.  After getting him down to 7% on our first night of attempts we went back and made some adjustments and killed him.

After figuring out how to deal with Black and Red.. oh wait wrong Nef.  We finished up another good week by getting our first kill on Nefarian 25M.  All that is left 25M is Al’akir whom we’ve killed on 10M already and then we get to do it all over again on Heroic Mode.  For some odd reason I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Onyxia but maybe thats just me.

Cho’gall dead on 25 man and the Bastion of Twilight is now cleared on normal mode.  There are only 2 bosses left for us on normal mode and then it’s on to Heroic Modes where we get to re-learn everything all over again.

We killed both Chimaeron and Twilight Ascendant Council this week now putting us at 9/12 25M and 10/12 10M.  Now we get to start working on some end bosses as we have access to all 3 of them.  On only our 4th attempt fo Cho’gall we took him down to 17%.  Hopefully we can have him down fairly soon then we can start working on Nefarian/Al’akir and then it’s on to re-learning it all on HMs.

After going 7/12 in 25 man this week and coming close to killing Ascendant council we went into 10 man and killed Chimaeron and Cho’gall making us 10/12 bosses in 10 man and 7/12 in 25 man.  We hope to have either Ascedant council or Chimaeron dead this week on 25 man if not both.

We had another strong week first killing The Conclave of Wind and then 1 shotting Atramedes.  We then went on to put in some attempts on Twilight ascendant council and still have some work to do on phase 2 but we’re not too far off.  We are now 7/12 on 25 man and 8/12 on 10 man and the week isn’t over yet as we can still put in some attempts on some of the bosses we still haven’t killed.
